Basic Fire Awareness
This program is designed to provideparticipants with the skills and knowledge required for a person to deal with an emergency fire situation. It will allow participants to gain an appreciation of the dangers of fire and teach them what they can do to avoid it. Course Content •Chemistry of Fire •Types of Fire •Causes of Fire •Extinguishing Fire •Basic Fire Prevention. •Actions to be taken in the event of Fire •Fire Extinguishers •Fire Drills •Practical Demonstrations Target Group •Emergency response and rescue personnel •Fire technicians •Safety technicians •Fire wardens •Fire marshals •Teachers •Safety officers •Any person interested in being trained in basic firefighting Certificate: On successful completion of this course participants will receive a National Association of Safety Professionals Certificate and Card. It is recommended that this certificate be renewed every 3 years.

Basic Firefighting Simulator Training

Industrial Firefighting
The Industrial Firefighting program is designed for the persons who may be required to operate firefighting equipment in a first responder role. This training introduces personnel to the principles of industrial firefighting at the basic and advanced levels.
